Great picture. Great Shot, a question, the 500mm you used is manual or autofocus ?
And how do you proceed to capture birds, they are in a reserved area or they are wild ? Do you stay some days observing them, without noise, them bring your camera ?

thank's sometimes use MF ,but usually shoot whit AF ,my passion is wildlife,all my gallery is only whit wild birds - this is the the real for me!Yes I hide in camouflage tent and wait for them ...... it's not a point to take a picture of bird or other animal ..the point is how to hunt him whit your camera,to deserved the image!Have something very very nice cos' when we wait for this shots we can look and learn a lot from this lovely animals!

Yes,look like Larus cachinnans ,but you can't see on this image legs - on caspian gull are yellow,this is just a young Larus argentatus!
